Freeda chose civil engineering because she enjoys solving problems and is passionate about sustainability. She works with our wastewater group to design facilities that have a real impact in the community.
Freeda is originally from the San Juan Islands and enjoys traveling, hiking, going to concerts, and watching TV with her dog.
What would surprise people about you? My family lived on a tiny island called Waldron Island until I was 12. There are no paved roads, stores, or public utilities – just a one room schoolhouse and a post office. My parents are definitely hippies!
Indulgence: Chocolate and reality TV.
On your bookshelf: Mysteries.
Curious about: Literally everything! I’m always googling weird questions.
