New Talent Making Things Happen at Murraysmith

We are thrilled to introduce you to some of the talented folks helping us implement important changes around the firm—helping us do what we do well, even better!

John Thayer works out of our sunny San Diego office and brings over 20 years of water and wastewater infrastructure experience to help us deliver high-performing and innovative treatment and hydraulic designs.

Floyd Harrington’s 20-year stretch at the Oregon Department of Transportation makes him a great asset for our Portland transportation group.

Jay Hedberg enjoys a challenge almost as much as he loves helping our projects come to life as a construction manager out of his hometown, Portland, Oregon.

Yong Qi joined our Tacoma office to lend his impressive expertise in stormwater modeling, reservoir and pump station design, and water/wastewater systems, to help make an impact on future generations.

Jake Stick loves water. Jumping in it—he’s a cold plunge enthusiast—and providing access to it through top-notch water and wastewater conveyance system design.

Andy Miles served communities around the country, from Tennessee to Hawaii, before landing in our Vancouver, Washington, office to help deliver water and wastewater projects.

Kelsey VandeBergh joined our Vancouver water team to lend her creativity to developing innovative yet cost-effective solutions.

Garrett Sabourin is the newest member of our growing Bend office. With five years of experience managing large transportation projects for the City of Bend, he brings insight into the priorities of our Central Oregon communities.

Peter Cunningham may be new to our Seattle office, but he’s not new to Seattle—he currently lives five blocks from his childhood home! This makes him particularly good at understanding the needs of the region, which he focuses on meeting through his work modeling, planning, and designing water systems and sewer collection and conveyance systems.
