Alec Adams
Alec has been interested in math and science since high school, so studying civil engineering in college seemed like a natural next step. As part of Murraysmith’s transportation engineering team, Alec works on roadway and curb ramp designs. His favorite part of the job doing good for the community by designing projects that help keep people safe on the road.
Alec returned to his hometown of Portland, Oregon, after attending college. He likes to stay physically and mentally active when not working, from playing sports and biking to competing with friends in board games and learning new musical instruments.
How does great engineering work? Great engineering happens when multiple experts put their knowledge together to make something better than any of them could make individually.
What would surprise people about you? I’ve been playing saxophone for more than a decade.
