Jim Helton, PE, CWRE
Jim finds it rewarding to apply engineering skills to make everyday life run more smoothly for the public. He is one of Murraysmith’s and the region’s most experienced wastewater engineers, bringing a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of sewer collection system design. Jim has also extensive experience in the planning, design, and implementation of municipal water projects. He often serves as technical advisor, performs QA/QC, and oversees standards development for Murraysmith’s water and wastewater projects.
Jim lives in Portland with his wife and appreciates how close the mountains and beaches are to the city.
What would surprise people about you? I’m easygoing on the surface, but very competitive inside. Comes out on the tennis court.
