What would surprise people about you? In high school, I worked as a roofer through a work program. I was the only female on a crew of five. We repaired and replaced roofs for the senior citizens in North and Northeast Portland. The upside of the job was earning four extra credits toward graduation. The downside: it was the hardest labor-intense job I’ve ever worked in my life, and the scariest because I have a fear of heights.
Best place to be when you aren’t working: The beach or at the movies
Career in your next life: Social worker/counselor for elementary and middle school kids
