Rizwan Hamid, PE
Rizwan has a mission—to use data and technology in boundary-pushing ways to solve environmental engineering problems. A technical lead for Murraysmith’s planning and modeling group, Rizwan makes use of his vast experience to oversee wastewater and stormwater systems planning projects.
An industry leader, Rizwan was the founder and president of Aqualyze, which became a part of Murraysmith in 2019.
Best place to be when you aren’t working: On a tennis court, if it’s not cold and wet, otherwise on a racquetball court.

What would surprise people about you? I am not a big fan of running, but I ran two marathons to challenge myself.
What do you find the most rewarding about your work? Working with clients and conveying results to them through effective graphics.
